On Saturday, October 19th, we held our Annual Country Fair Church Bazaar…..and, it was a huge success!!! A steady stream of visitors shopped for fresh produce and plants, scrumptious homemade baked goods and candy, lovely Granny’s Attic items, a large variety of books, and sweet cotton candy. There were bids galore on the fabulous baskets in the silent auction. And, many enjoyed a delicious lunch of hot dogs, homemade chili and chicken noodle soup, and refreshing apple cider!
Putting together an event of this nature is a huge undertaking and would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of so many of our church family who baked, crafted, cooked, and put in countless hours preparing for and working at the event – all under the leadership of our event chairperson, Gail Ebbs and her trusty side-kick, Renee Ebbs! Connie Pinson and Rachel Marasco headed up the efforts in the kitchen to produce the amazing lunch menu. Thank you to all who did anything – big or small – to make this event a successful one! Our motto, more lately than ever before, has been – “Together we can make anything possible” – and this event is just one more example of that!!!
We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the local farmers who continue to support our events. The following generous folks donated all the incredible fresh produce – always a popular table at our Country Fair! We are so grateful for you:
Jim and Adam Kirby
Tim and Linda Kirby
Brown’s Berry Patch
Kirby’s Cider Mill
